Ladies and Gentlemen, the curtains have now closed on the First Annual Amsterdam Burlesque Festival.
Chaz Royal and Miss Beeby Rose are delighted to announce that Amsterdam Burlesque Festival 2009 was a resounding success! The festival drew in an estimated 1000 people, aged between 18 and 80, over 4 sell-out evenings of dazzling entertainment.
ABF kicked off with a medley of songs from Amy Housewine and wrapped up with a riotous wrap party 4 days later.The festival hosts, Armitage Shanks, Kiki Kaboom and Lady Marmalade, introduced an array of stunning performances from the best in burlesque across the globe. Patrons were treated to sensational shows from the best in burlesque, circus sideshow, vaudeville and classic striptease.
Thanks to all the performers, volunteers, guests and friends who helped make Amsterdam Burlesque Festival a magical occasion.

ABF 2009!
The 1st annual Amsterdam Burlesque Festival is a 4-night celebration of world-class burlesque entertainment. Featuring a hand-selected cast of performers from Holland and beyond, ABF 2009 will showcase the finest in Classic Striptease, Circus Sideshow and Variety Arts!
This spectacular event will premiere on November 19-20-21-22 2009, in Amsterdam’s dazzling CASABLANCA Circus Tent. This intimate venue gives a nostalgic nod to the days of yesteryear, when Classic Burlesque, Circus Sideshow and Variety Entertainment were presented under one roof.
